About the Position

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our team in NYC. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will be a key part of our growing sales team, responsible for managing customer relationships and driving renewals and expansion opportunities.

The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, helping them maximize the value of SportsRecruits. They will understand customers' business objectives, provide strategic guidance, and act as their advocate within the company. Additionally, they will collect feedback to help shape our product roadmap and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong relationships with assigned SportsRecruits customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive monthly renewals and expansion opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Develop scalable strategies to successfully up-sell and renew accounts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to improve customer adoption and engagement.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback to inform product and business improvements.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in account management, sales, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume tasks efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Experience developing strategies to drive customer adoption and engagement.
  • Ability to build trust with both decision-makers and end users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Experience coaching at the club or collegiate level is strongly preferred.
